Rotary International is an organization of service clubs, comprising more than 32,000 clubs worldwide and over 1.2 million members. With the motto "Service above Self", its purpose is to bring together business and professional leaders to provide humanitarian service. Weekly meetings enable members to form solid relationships and to develop a strong sense of community.
There are three rotary clubs within the Canton of Zug: the Rotary Club Zug, the Rotary Club Zugersee, and the Rotary Club Ägeri-Menzingen. Contact details of all three clubs can be found below. The Rotary Zug meets every Monday at Hotel Ochsen in Zug, the Rotary Club Zugersee meets every Friday at Restaurant Aklin (near Kolinplatz), and the Rotary Club Ägeri-Menzingen meets every Thursday, alternating between the Hotel Ochsen in Menzingen and the Seminarhotel in Unterägeri.
